My focus is on the material culture of Native Americans who lived during the Archaic Period in the Southeast. I’m interested in prehistoric settlement patterns and exchange, particularly with respect to the use of riverine systems for mobility. Cultural Resource Management has exposed me to the archaeology of the Southeast, the West coast, and the Midwest, and I’ve worked on academic projects in France and Denmark.
