STEXFLOW

Many parts of the New World contain early sites and early skeletal samples. Preservation is always a problem and people no doubt congregated where resources were more abundant like this stretch of south Texas near both marine, freshwater and terrestrial resources. Environmental changes have occurred in the last 10,000 years and detailed environmental reconstruction becomes critical in understanding human population adaptation and subsistence thus the FSU interest in Geoprobe technology and its application in archaeological investigations.
