An interest in early sites, early skeletal material and geoarchaeology has led
to investigations of a number of sites from Texas to Florida and Tennessee.
The FSU Geoprobe system allows extraction of soil cores within a plastic liner ideal for pollen
and soil chemistry studies. A 'direct push' hydraulic system provides an efficient method of
extracting soil samples.
