| The Florida State University Program in Underwater Archaeology is currently conducting research off the coast of Dog and St. George Islands: Frankilin County, Florida.
One of the primary research goals is the search for the HMS Fox. The Fox is thought to have been lost somewhere between Dog and St. George Islands.
Another aspect of the project is the further excavation and analysis of Ballast Cove Wreck A (8Fr903), a late 19th century wooden vessel.
