Dr. Tanya Peres

Dr. Tanya Peres is recruiting graduate students interested in foodways in the ancient Americas and the non-food roles of animals in Native American societies, and with previous experience in archaeological fieldwork, zooarchaeological analysis, paleoethnobotanical analysis, and other basic archaeological skillsets

 

 

Dr. Mark McCoy

Dr. Mark D. McCoy is recruiting graduate students interested in studying ancient societies, geospatial archaeology, and the archaeology of Pacific Islands, especially the Hawaiian Islands, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Rapa Nui (Easter Island), and the islands of Micronesia. Dr. Jayur Mehta

Dr. Rochelle Marrinan

Dr. Rochelle Marrinan is recruiting graduate students interested in focusing on Zooarchaeology, Spanish Mission archaeology, and Contact Period studies. 

 

 

 

Dr. K. Ann Horsburgh

Dr. K. Ann Horsburgh is recruiting graduate students with interests in the interactions between lived experiences and health, broadly construed. Some background in biology is an advantage, but not essential. 

 

 

 

Dr. Eric Shattuck

Dr. Eric Shattuck is recruiting graduate students interested in health, sickness behavior, inflammation and immune function, sleep, and vaccine hesitancy across a variety of social and cultural contexts.

 

 

 

Dr. Geoffrey Thomas

Dr. Geoff Thomas is recruiting graduate students with interests in Bioarchaeology and Paleopathology of the American Southeast with specific interests in growth and development, health, behavioral reconstruction, and gender as it related to social organization and subsistence practices
